This special recipe is shared with us. It’s is a powerful blend of ginger and turmeric, with anti-inflammatory properties, crafted to bring relief from fibroid menstrual pain. By combining the natural healing properties of these two ingredients, this drink offers many benefits for women experiencing discomfort during their menstrual cycles. Making it an excellent addition to your wellness regime.

Instructions

  1. Start by washing the fresh ginger and tumeric root with water, scrubbing with a brush to remove any dirt.
  2. Then place the ginger and turmeric roots into a blender
  3. Add purified water and blend until you achieve a smooth consistency (depending on blender size, may need to blend in batches).
  4. Take the blended mixture and pour it into the pot.
  5. Heat the mixture on the stove until it reaches the boiling point. Turn the heat down and allow it to simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down.
  7. Put on gloves to strain the mixture into a jar, removing any solids. This step is important to prevent staining from the turmeric.
  8. Store the jar in the refrigerator, where it can last for up to two weeks.
  9. At night before bed, take half a cup of the refrigerated mixture, dilute with water and heat it up and enjoy. Alternatively, you can mix it with your preferred tea or add a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavour.

Optional Lemon Water:

In the morning, before breakfast, prepare a glass of fresh lemon water.
