Oat Milk Matcha Latte with Dates and Nutmeg

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder to remove lumps.
  2. Blend pitted dates with a little warm water to create a smooth date paste.
  3. Gently heat oat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until warm (avoid boiling).
  4. In a cup, add sifted matcha powder. Pour a small amount of warm oat milk into the cup and stir until matcha is dissolved.
  5. Add remaining warm oat milk and stir well.
  6. Add collagen powder, if using, and stir until dissolved
  7. Spoon in the blended date paste and stir until well incorporated. Adjust sweetness by adding more dates if needed. (Optional: sieve mixture if requires a smoother texture).
  8. Grate a pinch of nutmeg directly into the latte. Add a pinch of pink salt, if desired. Stir well.
  9. Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Optional: Use a milk frother to create a creamy froth on top. Or blend the mixture for a smooth and creamy drink.
